Ben Beitel

CEO

Ben Beitel is a visionary: he recognizes the potential in each deal and turns undervalued properties into profitable enterprises, time and time again. Mr. Beitel has over two decades of experience and a proven track record leading acquisitions, dispositions, portfolio and asset management. Mr. Beitel initially built his real estate portfolio by investing in multi-family assets and invests proprietary capital alongside the partners.
As Besyata quickly expanded, Mr. Beitel engaged institutional partners both in the United States and overseas to enable further growth. Over the course of his career, Mr. Beitel has purchased over $500MM in real estate and continues to expand and diversify the company's portfolios. Mr. Beitel is an active member in his community and an ardent supporter of many charities and committees.

Mark Silberstein

MANAGING DIRECTOR, FINANCE

Mark Silberstein is in charge of financing new acquisitions through debt and equity and developing strategic partnerships with lenders and investors – from family offices to institutional partners. Mr. Silberstein's keen business acumen is critical in arranging and executing insightful and creative financing solutions for Besyata's new acquisitions.
Since joining the firm, Mr. Silberstein has played an integral role in the growth of Besyata’s portfolios and the facilitation of capital markets transactions. Since joining the firm in 2011, Mr. Silberstein has raised capital for some of Besyata’s largest acquisitions.

Daniel Lilker

MANAGING DIRECTOR, CFO

Daniel Lilker oversees the financial activities and planning for Besyata. Mr. Lilker joined Besyata from JLL in 2018, where he managed transactions for major corporate clients’ real estate portfolios. As a finance manager at JLL, he oversaw the portfolios for Deutsche Bank’s real estate group and managed operations of commercial, retail, and healthcare properties for Kindred Healthcare and Citigroup.
Mr. Lilker started his career at Ernst & Young in the Advisory Business Services Real Estate Group where he managed audits of opportunity funds, private equity partnerships, and REITS. Daniel is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of NY. He holds a BS in Accounting from Yeshiva University and an MS in Real Estate Finance and Investment from the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate.

Ben Cohen

MANAGING DIRECTOR, HEAD OF PORTFOLIO ACQUISITIONS

Ben Cohen focuses on expanding the company’s portfolios through the acquisition of new assets. He sources and evaluates value-add investment and development opportunities across the U.S. in the major multifamily and commercial markets.
Mr. Cohen is an accomplished real estate professional with extensive experience within the underwriting and portfolio management functions. Mr. Cohen joined Besyata in 2008, and since then, has coordinated some of Besyata’s most significant acquisitions, with a focus on maximizing and creating value.

Jared Rosenblatt

DIRECTOR, ACQUISITIONS AND DEVELOPMENT

Jared Rosenblatt manages the sourcing and research of potential acquisitions in the commercial market. In underwriting potential investment opportunities for Besyata’s portfolios, Mr. Rosenblatt conducts market research, due diligence, and financial analysis for a wide variety of commercial transactions. Mr. Rosenblatt oversees strategic relationships with brokers.
Mr. Rosenblatt joined Besyata in 2015 from a CPA accounting firm, where his focus was on real estate holdings. Mr. Rosenblatt holds a BA in Accounting from Touro College.

Julien Darmon

SENIOR ASSOCIATE, ACQUISITIONS AND DEVELOPMENT

Julien Darmon underwrites prospective acquisitions within Besyata’s portfolios, preparing detailed financial models and property-level research for each deal. He uses Argus, CoStar, and Excel, among other tools, to underwrite investment opportunities for various asset classes nationwide.
Prior to joining Besyata, Mr. Darmon worked in commercial brokerage at Cushman & Wakefield, representing New York City office tenants. Mr. Darmon holds a BA degree from The University of Rochester, where he majored in International Relations.

Haim Mermelstein

VP, ASSET MANAGEMENT

Haim Mermelstein plays a multi-faceted role, involved in all aspects of hands-on real estate operations and development. He utilizes his broad industry network and extensive experience to develop and implement portfolio and asset strategies for the company. Heavily involved in corporate decisions for every transaction, Mr. Mermelstein oversees all legal, tax, insurance, development, and financing matters. A creative problem solver, Mr. Mermelstein has identified significant cost-saving and value-add solutions for every project, helping to deliver solid returns to Besyata and its partners.

Andrea Bellino

ASSET MANAGER

Andrea Bellino focuses on asset management and is involved in all aspects of hands-on real estate operations and development. Ms. Bellino is an accomplished real estate professional with experience in asset management. Ms. Bellino joined Besyata in 2016 from the Easton Group where she oversaw operations of 17 million square feet across 18 commercial properties, directed capital and tenant improvements, prepared operating budgets and oversaw financial statements. In her prior role at National Development Corporation, Ms. Bellino managed operating data for rental property portfolio of over 11,000 units. Ms. Bellino holds a BA from University of Miami.

Xzavian Johnson

ASSET MANAGER

Xzavian Johnson focuses on asset management and is involved in all aspects of daily real estate operations and development. Ms. Johnson is an accomplished real estate professional with 11 years of nationwide experience in asset management. Ms. Johnson joined Besyata in 2017 from TGM Associates where as a Business Manager she oversaw operations, leasing, renovation, staff, and financial reporting of luxury rental apartments as well as a Marina. In her prior roles at Greystar, ZRS, William C. Smith & Co., and Archstone, Ms. Johnson managed financial reporting, renovations, budgets, and leasing teams for large multifamily rental properties to achieve capital and tenant improvements. Ms. Johnson holds a B.A. from Howard University.

Dov Strohli

SENIOR DIRECTOR, DEVELOPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION

Dov Strohli plays a critical role in developing properties and maximizing their value. Over the past 15 years, Mr. Strohli has managed the construction of numerous development and redevelopment projects, providing oversight in every stage of the process. Mr. Strohli has worked with various product types along the risk spectrum, managing projects from inception to completion.
He brings this knowledge to Besyata, where he is a valued member of the team.

Benny Sheinfeld

ASSOCIATE, DEVELOPMENT AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Benny Sheinfeld manages development and construction projects in commercial and residential markets. Mr. Sheinfeld develops strategic partnerships with parties involved in the development and construction process for prospective acquisitions preparing property-level research for each deal and then monitors day to day progress. Mr. Sheinfeld collaborates with property managers and construction teams and uses his extensive entrepreneurial experience to drive projects successfully to completion.

Prior to joining Besyata, Mr. Sheinfeld worked as a rental broker for Live London Estates, in England, and later at Weissman Realty, as an investment sales broker concentrating on multifamily buildings in Queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx. Mr. Sheinfeld graduated Touro College with a BS in marketing and management.

Mordy Beitel

ASSOCIATE, DEVELOPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION

Mordy Beitel is the creative mind and visionary behind Besyata’s new developments. He sources, designs and manages construction projects from inception to completion and oversees the strategic relationships with all parties involved in the construction process, including GC teams, architects, brokers, and third-party vendors. Mr. Beitel supervises the leasing up of the new development properties and maximizing their value.
Mr. Beitel has been involved in the family business from early on and has managed a number of development and redevelopment projects for Besyata, providing oversight of the construction in every stage of the process. With his efforts, Besyata’s development vector is expanding quickly in Brooklyn and nationwide.

Hannah Newman

SENIOR DIRECTOR OF INVESTOR RELATIONS, HEAD OF MARKETING

Hannah Newman focuses on developing and managing relationships with current and prospective investment partners, directing key business development initiatives.
Ms. Newman joined Besyata in 2013, and since then, oversees the marketing and communication efforts of the company, including client relations, social media, and marketing presentations.

Hindy Gancz

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, CONTROLLER

Hindy Gancz heads the accounting operations of the company, including the production of periodic financial reports and the management of the system of accounting records for Besyata. In her capacity as controller, Ms. Gancz oversees a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

Stephanie Barolette

SENIOR OFFICE MANAGER

Stephanie Barolette manages the day to day business activity and operations of the office and ensures the office is properly maintained and prepared for business partner meetings. Ms. Barolette has over 10 years' experience in customer service relations and office management.
